I have seen many posts about 215/45/17 working but I don't know what offset the wheels had.

In any case it has become time for me to change tires and I am looking into a certain tire that will give me 205/45/16 front and 225/45/17 rear. I know the fronts will not have a fitment problem. The rear I am not so sure about.

Would the rear work with +37mm offset, do I need a larger offset to prevent rubbing?

Thanks.

As a guide, I currently have 17x7 +42 and the are in about 24mm (Rear)

New wheels will be 17x8.5 +32 which will stick out 4mm ish
