I have some PFL wheels collecting dust in my shed. I haven't inspected them too closely and have never had them installed on the car since I have owned it. I don't remember there being anything noticeably wrong with them, but I'm sure they are not in the mint condition that you are desiring.

Most areas have wheel repair and refinishing shops that can make old wheels look new. If you already have a set of wheels, that is an option. Even if you find a mint set of OEM wheels, shipping wheels can get expensive, adding to the cost

I'm quickly learning that shipping rates these days are out of control. It's strange how I can get a brand new set of aftermarket REPS for $500 free shipping and buying a used set of oem wheels with shipping may cost more. I might just cringe and go new aftermarket. Its a daily driver so no real concerns about budget REPS

I got a bunch of quotes from local rim repair places to refinish my OEM wheels but all of them came in more expensive than buying a set of Enkai RPF1s with mounted & balanced tires. Doesn't hurt that the Enkeis are considerably lighter.

You can buy refinished OEM wheels outright for less than RPF1's.

2000-2002 15" rear Hollander #69400, 15" front #69339.
2003-2005 16" rear Hollander #69439, 15" front #69438

If you search by the Hollander number, you can probably find other sources. But the Enkei are certainly a lot lighter!

Hey, thanks for the links. This is really helpful. Quick question, Hollander says their wheels are machine faced with grey painted pockets. Factory OEM wheels are 100% painted silver finish wheels correct?

I'm not racing this car so weight is of no concern for me. I can get a set a really similar looking set of replica wheels (machine faced, grey pockets) for about $500 free shipping. Deeper discounts for wheel & tire packages. I might just go the REP route.

Makes sense to go with RPF1's under those circumstances. I'm just a fan of the way the OEM wheels look on the car. It's a DD for me not a racer so weight specs are really of no concern.

The 2000-2002 are 100% silver painted. The 2003-2005 OEM wheels are clear coated machined face with gray painted pockets.

Hollander is just a system that gives common part numbers to parts for salvage yards, and repair shops. For example, a wheel with a Hollander number of 69439 will always be an OEM 2003-2005 Toyota MR2 16X7 rear or exact copy, regardless of who is selling it. Refinished wheels from companies like Midwest Wheel normally match the OEM finish. I got wheels from Midwest years ago, and they looked exactly the same as OEM.
