2zzge ecu vs 1zzfe ecu

well, i been wanting to find out wat the look like inside, so i open both up the is wat found



The 2zzge ecu, is are blitz access ecu,
i plug this in my car and it started it (1zz turbo) is that weird.

1. any way can anyone make out whats done to this ecu?

2. if i did the 2zz conversion will this ecu have any effects in performance and reliability wise?

3.since it was made for are supercharger, will the maps affect this in na form?

I wouldn't do that again. The 2zz and 1zz have different grounding points on the ecu. You could fry something pretty easily.

It looks like they wired in another board to the OEM board (piggy-back), hence all the foam.

Can you program it or do you have the software to interface the ecu? You will probably have to re-tune it for N/A, since it is for a supercharger. Answers question 3.

My guess is that this is probably just a built in piggy-back.

Regarding you questions - I've no idea.

Is the 1ZZ on the left?

Is that anti-vibration-foam or I've-got-a-secret-epoxy?
