Does anyone have these in there car? I read VAGperformance's 2zz swap thread and he had mentioned looking at them for cheap bucket seats. But that was the only thread that mentioned these ones exactly

I found a pair for $400 (shipped to lower 48 states) on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BRIDE-VIOS-...sQ5fAccessories

wasn't sure about modifications needed, like rails/sliders/brackets and all that good stuff. And also how they fit in our cars

well skinny isn't bad for me at all
I'm 6' 3" and weigh 155 so I'm a tiny little kid

I don't know the dimensions of our stock seats, but I'll take some advice I once received and use the :nosearch:

155 means you'll fit fine width-wise. However, 6'3" means you need to be careful about seat height. I'm sure you're well aware of this, but brackets tend to make the seat sit even higher. Depending on your torso length you may run out of headroom.

Others have solved the height issue by bolting the seat directly to the mounting points on the floor. This method causes loss of adjustability but you can install it to your specifications. Nobody else, unless of similar stature, will be able to drive your car. This is probably a good thing.

In this case, though, it would be wise to keep your stockers for future ease of sell.

Just throwing this out there: This kind of super lightweight, fiberglass fixed back seat is a big adjustment (pun intended). I know we all want our interiors to look real cute, and the support sounds like it would be great, but it sure is a different butt experience. Not saying you won't like them, some do (I don't), but it's an extremely important part of the car. Discomfort there ruins the whole drive. It's also not atypical for this style of seat to bend under your weight, so supports (that mount to a harness bar, which you'll probably also want) might be necessary.

I know they're fixed positioned and you can't adjust, it's like my seat on my kart. It doesn't bother me too much, plus I don't normally take this one long trips. I'm keeping my stock seats just in case something goes wrong and I don't like the way they fit around me

For me, it's the bending that's the worst. Feels uber cheap and totally uncomforable. I also think Cosmin may be right that they are fakes. In that case, they'll definitely bend and feel like crap.

thanks for the heads up

considering the spyder is my DD I'd hate to save up for something like this and have it ruin the spyder experience.
