Wish I posted earlier and bought with Snelbaard. I ordered a “sneaky front strut bar” with Stingwray a couple weeks ago, but haven’t got a tracking number or a way to communicate with them.

Midship had a cool custom center console I wanted to buy.

 

Ive bought small stuff from them and it was perfectly fine...

I brought a $1700 BBK. Took over six months to get. Does not fit. Unsafe to use. Emails ignored. Too late to get refund from Paypal.

Everything that is designed by Midship garage is poorly designed and badly constructed.
Everything else can be purchased elsewhere at a better price.

 

agree. Purchased the Novus center console. Took forever to ship. Fitment was horrible. Based on the response rate and trashy product, I thought it would be a waste of time to try and get a refund so I didn’t bother. Buyer beware

 

Just got a Blue 2001.
Was looking around for parts like a front strut bar, and noticed how limited the market is for this car.
Anyways I stumbled by midship garage a couple months ago and saw they had lots of cool upgrades I was looking forward to. Tried to have a browse today, but it looks like they are shutting down the site. Hope they are just revamping the site.

I have purchased two braces including the one pictured in the thread below from Snelbaard and can attest to how well they are made. I'm sure others will echo similar experience.

Depending on what types of products are currently in need, I may do some runs of custom parts. Everything but the wing itself I designed and produced. I’m tempted to see how far I can go with some parts, all of which would ideally be relatively quick turn around.

 

I got a Barbarian Racing steel front strut brace , and the rear aluminum version ( they didnt have steel at the time I ordered ).
They come powder coated .
They shipped pretty fast and they fit good

 

There's a few smaller shops that are producing strut bars for these cars. One of which being Hopr Fabrication in SoCal, I currently have their set and am very happy with the fitment and cosmetic appeal! Another being LMR Fabrication, he's got a handful of braces as well!

 

Was pulling up some vendors that used to stock some OEM parts. Looks like Midship Garage may be down for the count... or revamping? IDK. Hopefully some insight gained there/lessons learned?

I never did try and order anything from them, and based on the feedback I've seen, that may be for the better.

We might want to keep an eye out for a newer vendor popping up (with same owners) - hopefully not with the same practices..
