01/24/11 Update: I finally have a new website for the products that I make for the Spyder. I, however did not do this myself!!! A very talented fellow did this work for me so plaese check out the site that Mark Hulbrock built. http://www.corkyandcompany.net
Although I am a little low on inventory we are building more right now.

For any questions I can always be contacted thru Email at corky@corkyandcompany.net rather than PMs.

I got stg 3 but I will have Moroso. I guess I wont use RSLB then[/b]
I did make some RLCBs that had the crossover bar moved forward to give more clearance for the Moroso pan. It gives another inch but it's not as easy to install.
If you want that style just let me know.

Corky, if its not a trouble I would like that modified RLCB instead of regular. I am not sure where we at right now meaning who is next in line to get bracings
but I can be patient and wait if it will take longer.

It won't take any longer for the modified RLCB, they are already made up.

I should be sending the last of the braces out for coating late next week, and I am hoping to start shipping after I get them back.

All of the braces are available for purchase now, I'll have inventory for sale.

Has anyone gotten the Rear Strut Tower Brace Straight yet? I'm interested but still curious how it compares to the original 3.0 RSTB.[/b]
To be honest there have been only 2 ever sold. I had one on my car for a brief time but never really had time to push the car much.
I built that brace to be legal in SCCA, and it is designed to be used in conjunction with the OEM rear brace.

I just finished my first oil change since installing the new braces. And while the oil filter is a little bit more of a bitch to get too, I didn't have to take off my rear strut tower bar to be able to get my funnel into the oil fill.

That right there is worth the purchase.

I also went ahead and changed my spark plugs as I have almost 130k on this motor and now found out they were the original Iridiums. And again I didn't have to remove the RSTB.

Over all I'm very happy with my purchase. :icon_thumright:

PS: CeeDapp, I have a friend who has a Spyder who has your MSMB and he accidentally overtightened one of the 10mm bolts on the MSMB and broke the nut that is welded to the body off.
You wouldn't happen to have any advise for my friend that I could pass along would you?

Hey, Corky, I was down at Blackcreek's place today for some tuning and he installed the two parts of the rear brace (RMB) that replace the stock member braces (for '03 up... earlier years have nothing back there)... the "sticks". His neighbor has a lift, so it was very easy. I didn't expect replacing these two parts to do anything, but they did! It is quite a bit tighter back there. Kudos for the design.

is the "corky front breast plate" I've heard so much about still available?[/b]
Yes the BreastPlates are all ready to go out da door. I have about 10 in stock.

That must be one of the front bolts that broke - right???
If you can send me a picture it would help a lot. Do you guys have access to a welder???
Without being able to see the damage its kinda hard to tell what needs to be done for the fix. But I'm thinking that I may be able to make up something like the broken nut, and have you guys weld it in --- need pictures.

Thanks for the kind words guys - much appreciated.

I did all my braces on by back. And only took a few hours.

As for the bolt, I talked to my friend and he said it is the rear most bolt on the passenger side. I believe you send a new 10mm bolt with a large washer with the MSMB. It is that one.

I think you might be right. The best way will probably be to take the brace off :( and weld a new nut into place. I'll ask him and see if he can snap a pic of it for you.

Thanks

Isn't that a 6mm bolt???? Not being nitpicky - I just relate to where abouts on the brace as to the size of bolts.

Hey Corky,

Do you have any idea who the guy is in your picture; the one who beat anorexia?
