well, it is time to take my entire car apart...including: sideskirts, front bumper, back bumper, front panals, and rear panals.

i figure i will put the whole job on here, from start to finish. ill take as many pics as i can along the way.

the reason for this is to have one place i can go to for any advise, or questions. i have done most of this before, but on wrecked spyders that i could just bend or cut things that were in my way. i cant do this now, so i may run into some things, i dont know.

plus, i will give some people something else to follow....lol.

here are a couple of pics i took, i guess i will just add all pics to this first post to keep them all together.

here is the kit after i got it off...still looks great!

and the rear

i figure i will point out how i took everything apart...help people in the future....

headlights removal..

two bolts in the top
Image

one bolt on the bottom back side
Image

then it is just a clip, pull forward and it will pop out.
Image

fender removal..all bolts are 10mm

bolt in front corner
Image

open door and there is another bolt at top
Image

under the plastic around bottom of windshild there is a bolt..plastic clip holds the plastic piece down
Image

under the car, by the tire, there are two bolts
Image

take the wheelwell plastic out by taking plastic clips out.
then you will see another plastic piece if you look inside the fender at the door. one plastic clip holds it in...take the plastic piece out, and you will see a bolt behind there.

Image

then there is one last bolt in the front corner
Image

you can take these out in any order you want

then you have this

Pimpin'. It's honestly not the way I would have gone, but it's very nice. I'm sure if I saw it in person I would love it.

BTW, I'm also getting a chuckle out of the fact that Paul probably just spent more time and money on a Spyder than this site has ever seen, and the first thing we say is "buy new wheels!". IMO, the wheels are dope, and even if they weren't, just enjoy them for awhile. It's time to kick back and have a drink.[/b]
+1 I like the wheels on it personally.

and this is coming from MR.WAGON WHEELS........not good to take advice from him...about rims...haha

What's with the stock stereo. $500 would buy a nice HU and door speakers at least.

BTW, that is absolutely the best spyder ever. I've ridden in it and know its fast. Now it looks amazing and no one will ever have one like it.

I guess now you're down to deciding where to photo shoot. My thoughts are (in no particular order) French Quarter, downtown Houston, MS plantation, Gulf Coast Casino.

Also, I love the wheels.

ok, first the shifter, it is the trd short throw. i think the ball just makes it look longer. thanks to the SUPER GREAT klufkee, i have a cool trd knob on the way
Image
. dude, you are the best!!!!!

now, the stereo, i never listen to it, and i did not want to give anyone a reason to break in my car when it had the soft top on it, so i never changed it out. i may throw a little something in there now, for a upgraded look. I still have a long way to go on the inside of the car.

i am going to make a trip to h-town very soon!

i have a bunch of head units laying around. if i swap it out, it will be with one of them. i used to be huge into car audio, i have some very expensive, but a little outdated, units still.

i am kind of thinking about the scion unit. all i really would like to do is play my ipod.

anyone who tells you that you need to change this or that should just swallow their pride and just tell you that you have created a beautiful 1-off kit that is a complete head turner! your wheels are awesome BTW!

Nice job Price!

oh ya, the trek is it!

fifa, i need the adapter!! sending pm
Image
.

btw, thanks for the nice comments, i love to see that people like the way it turned out. i have a huge list of shout-outs, but i will wait till i get the good pics done up.

like i said before, i am just a small part of the reason the car turned out like this. if it was not for the effort of many, it would not even be.

i know some people will say it needs this, or that, and it is cool. i agree, it need a steering wheel. i like the cover, but a wheel would just look better. i can say this though, you will never find a kit that is built as strong and good as this one!!

I think the Trek looks gimmikie and ricey.

The all black Apache is the best out of all of those. MAYBE the Black/red commando.[/b]
i think it may be right there on the border with the big momo at the top. i wish it did not have that, but i like the hint of red with the aluminum to match my air knobs.

i also like the Black/red commando!

how big is the stock wheel? of course i forgot to measure it while i was home.
