I didn't use either, nor anything else and they seem to be fine.

I don't think the thread is supposed to seal anything, like they do with some oil stuff.

I'm in the same boat as SE on this one. Bleeding makes me nervous no matter what's involved.

 

On oil lines, we don't use teflon tape usually. Clutch line would be the same as a oil line so the answer would be no.

I have something better than a pressure bleeder.

But I messed up and ran the master cylinder dry of fluid and now I don't have enough to finish the job. So now I have to ride by bicycle to the store to go get more.

 

Can't wait to hear the before-and-after report. I'm hoping for better pedal feel, like you get from the brakeline upgrade.

 

I hope so. Ask Bean's or anyone else at the last Dallas meet, my clutch pedal is ohh so soft. I love it. I just hope this makes it that little bit better.

I wouldn't call yours a clutch pedal...more like a clutch foot button, it's that short of a throw. This is not hyperbole, either.

I just finished up and it is even better now Bean.

Do you remember how gooey the pedal felt? As if there was zero feedback?
Now it feels more direct you can really tell exactly where you are and have so much control over it now. I LOVE IT!!

When I'm bored tonight I will get the pics uploaded and do the full write up.
