That is correct but you the black wire and ground the sensor to it. Using another ground maybe inadequet and give a voltage offset. Then you have to go into kpro and setup the sensor in the parameters and it deoends on which version of kpro u have. If you have a v1 or v2 youll hook it up as a eld instead. V4 has a cool option for aftermarket sensors

01' MR2 K20 swap, crazy mods to come

Before I bought my MR2 I was in the market of a S2000. However I came up on a deal that that I couldn't pass up. I was always a fan of the S2000 because of its high compression, iron block, engineered from F1 racing. Haven driven a couple of S2000s, Honda did not spare anything on that car. Heavier clutch, shorter shift, 6MT, LSD, and most of all the engine.

So I've been thinking about a F20 + 6mt swap into my Spyder. Will this be worth it or should I just move onto the Lotus Elise at this point?

There is no reason to go f20 in a spyder when you can easily swap in a K-series. ive had both a k-swap spyder and a s2k.
and the K-series are the way to go. alot of potential, easy to tune and make good power with minor bolt on´s.

There's F2K adapter plates, but you'll still have to make you own passenger side mount and do your wiring from scratch. Not to mention that there isn't a simple intake manifold solution that would work. The motor itself is expensive to begin with. K series has much better after market support.

The iVTEC is where it's at.

Wut, why? That's going backwards

Do you have a writeup or a check list of work that was done?

Any time people are searching for the most power displacement is increased. The k24 is Honda's answer. When sleeved they can go up to the 2.7 range.
2.4L kseries n/a have gone 300-400whp. For those looking for n/a power it will beat the f series everytime. Team 4piston recently built a 2.0L which made 327 hp on the engine dyno.

The iges files were sent to ppe but I spoke to Paul's brother. Paul was in the hospital, if you dont know Paul has a serious condition of the heart. I am trying to give him what he needs to get better, therefore I am waiting for Paul and his family to contact me when they are ready.

What belt will it use?
A 5 ribbed belt. I understand and know the Honda stuff uses a 6 rib but the Toyota AC pulley is a 5 rib. The belt will come with the package deal you have been PMing me about. There are 3 different belts based on which engine you went with and the pulleys you used. There are multiple configurations and I have belt measures for all configurations.

Will it use only the top 2 bolts like in the picture?
No, you cannot see the bracket behind the compressor. There are two brackets

Sounds good. I understand the belt will have to match the smaller 5 rib pulley. I didn't realize the belt would come with it so that's good.

I'm super excited about starting this swap now hat it's becoming a reality for me. I just got my mr2 with knocking motor on the 27th!
