dev, can i still order one set of 1E7 keyhole cover?
You are in luck, I have an unclaimed 1E7 set as enough time has gone by. I will send you a PM for payment.

For everyone else. This is what I have left.

1. 2 pairs of 6R4
2. 1 pair of 202
3. 1 pair of 576

Overall this batch exceeded my expectations. I thought I would have more inventory.

I just installed mine today- paint match was spot on and the isolators are ‘curing’ at this time. Excellent products as expected. If the isolators are a little sticky, would a quick shot of silicone spray do the trick? I just shot my door bolsters with that.

EDIT: Just gave a quick shot of silicone spray to the contact surfaces of the isolator and the door- worked perfectly- door pops open (likely from the lower bolster) and closes and opens easily (I had to tug a bit on the door handle to open the door the first time before the silicone spray).

Good to hear the silicone spray works. I would use Carnauba paste as it would be better as to not attract any grime.
Once the Isolators break in I would clean off the surfaces. The break in does work once the rubber becomes compressed to the right fit and having initial interference is a good thing to let you know its working.
The Door Bushings I make also confirm but they take a much longer time to compress because they are very stiff comparatively.
I have got good feedback from the Isolators but time will tell how they hold up. One of the things I like is the solid vibration free door closing.

First I want to say thanks to all those that participated and a special thanks to Murray for his persistence in getting me to make these again. All of the orders have shipped and are on their way. If you go to your PayPal account you should find a tracking number. If anyone needs the tracking number please PM me and I will look it up for you.

I have a few covers that did not make it that I tested for durability. Keep in mind that the clear has not fully hardened but I was amazed at how strong the 2k clear is when I tried to intentionally damage them. When I went to recycle the covers by sanding down the finish with 220 grit sand paper I was also impressed that both the clear and the flex primer was tough to burn though so I have a good feeling about these compared to past versions made with 1k clear coat but still handle with care as they are a painted finish.
Nothing is certain but time will tell how they hold up with the heat, UV and environmental factors.

If anyone has any issues please contact me first though PM and I will take care of you. Apart from that It has been a pleasure to make them for all of you and I am blessed from all the support you have given me for almost 20 years since I started making them for this community of owners.
Thanks. Have mine installed and love them! Good job!

I received mine today and installed the door isolators too! Unfortunately my driver's side keyhole was worn out because my car never came with a fob so I was using the key for a few years. It looked good after installing but it popped off and I drove over it in the driveway 😭. It could have been the extra force rattling the door from the isolators but I think it was my well used keyhole.

Sorry to hear. It should not have fallen out even with a worn lock. I will have a replacement made this weekend after I recycle a cover and send that out to you. I can’t make it in 2k but 1k should be fine for a long time.
I will let you know when it is shipped.

Wow thank you so much, just pm me with the material cost and shipping! You do a lot for the community

SUPER happy with how these look. The little mods make the biggest difference. I'll take her for a spin in a bit and see how those door isolators feel. Very satisfied, thanks Dev!

It is my responsibility. These are very difficult to cut and sometimes errors happen and thats why I have an installation warranty. It’s just good business and no trouble at all as I feel satisfied you guys are taken care of. I am sure any of you would do the same for me.

The break in is only so they are less grabby over time. You should feel the effect right away. Good luck.

My driver's door was very tight with the isolator installed but it was getting better. Today the rubber puck separated from the double sided tape. I'll sand it down a smidge before re-installing. @dev what tape were you using to secure it?

Mine did that as well on the driver's side. I was going to just grab some double sided tape and fix it today too. Passenger side is all good to go and I love how the doors don't rattle as I drive!

Just make sure that the edge of the door isolator makes contact with the wall of the door so when it closes it is arrested. From my testing on a good number of cars it should not detach but I suppose it's possible with other variables not yet encountered.
Make sure to clean the both the isolator and the door before attachment. The tape I used is Gorilla brand clear tape which you can find in any hardware store.
You can also add more tape for better coverage as I only used one strip because after a month they become harder to remove.

As far as sanding it down I would instead use some lubricant on the isolator and see if it helps. Once it breaks in it should be without issue.

Thanks I'll grab some of that next time I'm at Home Depot! Yeah the isolator peeled away from the tape but adhered nicely to the paint. Really I have no complaints at all haha tape is tape!

What I will probably do is add more coverage of tape on the isolator based on this. I felt that one strip was enough but full coverage covering all of the rubber is probably what is needed.
Once the isolator is on the car for a month it requires a lot of strength to remove so I think once its on there for a good while it's not coming off so easily as you have experienced.

Awesome thanks for the link - I wanted to use the same stuff because it left 0 residue when I removed the remainder from the door.

Thats why I selected this even though other stronger Gorilla gray double sided tape is not that bad either but it is supper strong so I thought its best to make sure these are easier to remove.
If it happens again you can go for the stronger stuff but I think this should work out. Also add a touch of lubricant on the face of the contact and I think that should aid in the break in and after it is broken in I would clean the surfaces of any oil residue.
