Keyhole Covers 2k clear coat edition. $25 pair shipped
I had a few members contact me to see if I could make another batch since I discontinued the product. One member in particular kept asking me for the last two years so he has a replacement for some worn out 8M6 covers I sold him over a decade ago. After delaying him I told him July and it's now July.
I also need another pair for myself since I gave my drivers side to someone else.
This time I plan to use 2K clear coat which is very durable and UV resistant. They should last a very long time by my estimation. The only problem is 2k clear coat is very toxic to use and can damage lungs. Even with my respirator it's not enough so I only plan to use it for this batch and be done with it. I need to make them all at once since there is a short window once the 2 part clear is mixed.
I do not have a lot of paint left and there is a chance that I will not have enough for each color particularly 1E7.
Edit: July 13th. I can now accommodate 1E7 as I ordered new paint.
Edit: July 17th. I can now accommodate 6R4
I originally plan to make a variety of colors divided into 30 sets but I thought it would be better if I have reservations for the colors that are needed so I can maximize what people need.
Edit: July 13th. I have expanded the sets as I found more raw materials. I am capped at 64 sets. This is all I can physically handle. Whatever does not get requested will be made as extras in various popular colors and sold as inventory after I am done.
If anyone is interested please let me know what color code you want to reserve a set. There is no need to pay now and when the time comes for payment if you are no longer interested you can just let me know you changed your mind and it will go to the next person on the list if I do not hear back from you in three days. Also please keep in mind that it is possible that some paint no longer viable so I will not be able to fill that order due to this limitation. I will try my best so make your reservations to call dibs on the color you want before I make them.
A brief synopsis of the keyhole cover:
These covers cover the door lock using a stem that is inserted into the lock. Since most people have key fobs the keyhole covers do not have to be removed but in case of an emergency they can be pushed down slightly and pulled out. What these do is hide the keyhole to give the car a uniform look.
I started selling these in 2005 and have sold thousands of them, not just for the Spyder but for other Toyota and Scion cars and trucks all over the world particularly US, Europe and Asia. They were featured in some tuning magazines for show cars which owners have shared with me.

These 2k cleared versions should be very durable compared to the ones I use to make with 1k clear coat.
